My Very Hungry Caterpillar Newborn Photography Prop Set

Have you seen the Pottery Barn Very Hungry Caterpillar nursery bedding set? Here's a picture. So super cute! I think it's even on backorder.....I can see why! 
I love this book and so do my boys. It's a classic. I wish this bedding had been around when they were born!

So when I saw this set come out, I immediate began looking for a unique yarn I could use for my very hungry caterpillar hat and cocoon set. I spent a lot of time looking for the perfect colors. The yarn I used for the cocoon works up just beautifully....silk, cotton, and tiny bit of wool....it's soft, textured, and amazing! How cute to have your baby's newborn photos in this set in their own hungry caterpillar nursery!

Looking Back at 2011 and Looking Forward to 2012!!

Happy Baby Crochet began in March of 2011, not even one year ago! When I look back at this past year, I am greatful to all I was able to accomplish for a year in the making. And so super excited about the thing to come of 2012!

This year I was fortunate enough to work with some amazing photographers.

It is because of these talented women that I am still around - Jessica from Angel Eyes Photography, Jessica from Bella Bebe Photography, Kristen from Funky Junk Designs and more recently Lisa at Lisa Rappa Photography. These photographers have been amazing and I could not have done any of this without them. They allowed me use of their photos to sell my photography props, they provided me feedback about everything from sizing to functionality to design, and they were critical in giving me the confidence I needed to continue.  

So, I thought I would share some of my favorite images from 2011! My biggest seller this year was my newborn boy owl hat. I had lots of great feedback about this photography prop hat. Moms loved it for their new baby boys!
